How do I apply for a role at Hanwha Defence Australia?

Simply visit our current opportunities page and apply online. We welcome applications from those who are passionate about contributing to national security and sovereign manufacturing.

What should I include in my application?

Your resume should show us your experience and achievements. Your cover letter is where you can tell us why HDA’s purpose and projects resonate with you.

What happens after I apply?

Your application will be reviewed by our recruitment team. If we see potential alignment, you’ll be contacted for a phone screen as the first step towards joining us.

How long does the recruitment process usually take?

We aim to keep you informed as we progress. Generally, you can expect to hear from us within about 2-3 weeks after  applying.

How can I prepare for my interview with HDA?

Simply apply online. We welcome applications from those who are passionate about contributing to national security and sovereign manufacturing.

Will I need to complete any assessments?

Some roles require technical, psychometric, or capability assessments. You will be informed ahead of time if these apply to your preferred role.

Eligibility & working rights

Do you offer sponsorship for visas?

We currently prioritise candidates who are Australian Citizens, due to the nature of our industry, we are unable to consider sponsorship.

Do I need a security clearance?

Most roles require eligibility for a security clearance, however this will be discussed during your phone screen call. Eligibility criteria can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
